Based on the Bartender manga series written by Araki Joh and illustrated by Kenji Nagatomo first serialized in the Japanese manga magazine Super Jump, Bartender tells us a story about Ryuu is a young bartender/bar-owner who has an incredible way of telling what a person is thinking and feeling, and what they want(and often need)to drink.
Ryu Sasakura makes the most incredible cocktails anyone has ever tasted. Seeking his title as "Glass of God", individuals from all different walks of life visit his bar. With both a compassionate ear and a godly drink, Ryu helps people with their problems.
This is not the usual action filled animes I follow all the time. You can categorize it as a spice of life kind of anime. But the most interesting thing for me was the drinks Ryu Sasakura made. Though I am not a person who is into alcohol of any kind this anime gave me the feeling that may be...just may be I should have a sip :P . Anyways if you are looking for a different type of anime Bartender is definately an anime u should try.
